Another year past

I was looking back through the past blogs and it's been a year since I've been blogging about our family!  The very first blog included pictures of Rachel's first birthday party at Pawleys' last year (her "destination birthday")!  And here we are again having her 2nd birthday party at Pawleys' with family!  I can't believe how much she has grown since then (I know that all moms say that, but when the saying fits...)!  And Josiah too!  He is such a great big brother!  I'm only going to post a few pictures here, but please remember to click on the picture under "Our Photo Albums" on the right hand side to see more beach pictures on our Picasa picture site.  Also, those of you who are Facebookers (all of my family now), they are posted on FB now too!

We really had a great time at the beach!  It was nice to have some days where it was just Scott and I and the kids hanging around the house, going to the beach and pool when we want, relaxing and playing on the back porch, cooking on the fun new gas stove, and having no time constraints!  The kids were pretty relaxed and flexible as well (for the most part... though Rachel still needed a nap here and there).  We did still enjoy having family in for Rachel's party... thanks for joining us, Mom, Dad, Michael, and Lynn!  We all loved having you there!  You all really helped Josiah overcome his fear of the pool as well.  He's finally ready for swimming lessons (as we move out of summer... but that will just mean he'll be that much more ready next summer)!  We definitely missed having the rest of the family there, but you were there in our thoughts and conversations!  :)
