A "Peaceful" Nativity

Josiah and Rachel had the opportunity to participate together in this year's Christmas play at their preschool!  Josiah and Peyton were cows with a joint speaking part (Peyton spoke very well, while Josiah just watched and listened) and Rachel came in at the end as a "Caroler", or a Jingle Bell girl as Josiah called her.  Rachel did a great job trying to sing and ring her jingle bells to the song, but got a little distracted by her brother who realized that she was right in front of him!  He told us later that he was tapping her on the head to tell her that he was right there (getting her attention), but as you might be able to tell, it definitely looked like he was hitting her on the head or pushing her head forward to play with her on stage (second picture below - I will try to post a video soon)!  :)  Josiah definitely enjoyed being "center-stage", though very much doing his own thing!  And once Rachel spotted us in the crowd, it was all over for her (we were trying to hide off to the side so she wouldn't see us, but Josiah pointed us out to her).  Needless to say, our children were entertaining!  :)  They were fun to watch and we were proud of them for doing the best they could through the play!  It was cute!
